An evening I'll forever carry with me

What an incredible book launch evening it turned out to be. When I walked into the room, what struck me first wasn’t the setting or the programme, it was the people. Faces from every chapter of my life gathered in one space. Family. Friends. Colleagues. Mentors. Fellow travelers. Seeing these different worlds intersect was deeply emotional. It felt like watching the threads of a long journey quietly tie themselves together.

There was a warmth in the room that’s hard to describe. Conversations felt real. Hugs lasted a little longer. Eyes said things words didn’t need to.

This book carries parts of my inner journey. The unmaking, the questions, the surrender, the slow rebuilding. To share that openly is no small thing. So, to be held by such generosity and attentiveness on the night was a gift. I felt seen. I felt supported. I felt grateful beyond words.

Some moments were powerful in unexpected ways. A comment shared softly after the talk, a reflection from someone I hadn’t met before, the quiet acknowledgement from those who understood the deeper layers behind the story. Those moments stay with you.

My sincere thanks to everyone who came and helped create such a grounded, beautiful space. Your presence mattered more than you know.

This launch felt like a doorway.

And I’m walking through it with gratitude.
